Don’t Give Up Now!

Have you ever gotten lost while driving some place important?  You were driving around in circles, pulling over on the side of the road…just down right frustrated!  How many times did you consider just giving up and going back home? Turning the car in the familiar direction seemed so easy.  It would provide a sense of relief and peace to point the car towards the path you knew for sure.  However, you knew you needed to be somewhere.  People were waiting there for you…expecting your arrival.  You pressed! You continued! You accepted that being late was better than not arriving at all.

You may be feeling that you are lost right now.  That you have been driving around in circles without any clear indication of the right direction.  I want to tell you do not give up now!  God has a plan for your life, don’t give up now!

Don’t be afraid to pull off the road and ask for directions (pray). Don’t be afraid to restart the GPS (study the word).  Don’t be afraid stop and retrace your steps (check your pride).   Don’t be afraid!  God has a specific plan for your life (Jer. 1:5).  You are going somewhere and there are important tasks for you to complete.  Don’t give up now!

Sometimes when you are lost  you must make tough decisions to get you back on track.  Face those tough decisions with confidence and conviction.  Put your pride aside so that you can reach your “expected end”.  You may need to turn around- head in the direction you just came from because you made a wrong turn.  Let the GPS (word of God) reroute you.  Your destination is awaiting your arrival and nothing will happen until you get there!  You are the main attraction in your life…the keynote speaker at the dinner called destiny.  You may believe that you arrived late, but to the MC, The Omniscient, you are right on time.  Don’t give up now! Your destination is right around the corner!
